Recent rainfall across India has not damaged major crops and is expected to boost summer crop production, according to Agriculture Secretary Devesh Chaturvedi. While some hail damage to mangoes and litchis is possible, overall, the rainfall is beneficial. The kharif season sowing is progressing well.
