The May 7th REAL ID deadline approaches. While most states issue compliant IDs, Enhanced Driver's Licenses (EDLs) from specific states are acceptable alternatives for domestic air travel. Valid US passports or DHS Trusted Traveler cards remain options. Children under 18 are exempt. The REAL ID Act is not a national ID system.
