Wayanad DCC treasurer N M Vijayan and his son consumed poison, admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital in critical condition. Vijayan, a prominent Congress leader, was involved in disputes regarding Bathery Urban Cooperative Bank appointments. Police investigate if these disputes led to the poisoning incident. Their condition is serious, currently in the ICU.
