Sanjay Raut claimed many BJP leaders desire an alliance with Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena (UBT). This followed an interaction between BJP's Chandrakant Patil and UBT's Milind Narvekar. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis dismissed the claims, stating casual meetings shouldn't be misinterpreted. The Shiv Sena and BJP were allies for 25 years before their split after the 2019 elections.
