Two individuals were arrested in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India for falsely accusing a man of 'love jihad' and extorting over Rs 1 lakh. The woman involved in the fabricated case is still at large. Police investigation revealed a conspiracy to extort money from the accused, Babar alias Sonu. Rs 25,000 has been recovered from the arrested individuals.
