An owl was rescued from an eighth-floor apartment window in Thane, Maharashtra. The Thane Municipal Corporation's Disaster Management team safely retrieved the bird. In a separate incident, they rescued a cat from a 15th-floor balcony. Separately, seven dogs were allegedly mistreated at a Badlapur shelter, prompting an investigation.
