Czech teenager Jakub Mensik defeated sixth seed Casper Ruud at the Australian Open 2025 in an impressive upset. Mensik, the 2022 boy's singles finalist, won 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. This is his best Grand Slam result, reaching the third round for the first time, following the exit of several other top 10 seeds.
