Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, head of Russia's nuclear, chemical, and biological defense, was killed by a bomb in Moscow. A suspect, allegedly recruited by Ukraine, was arrested and confessed. Kirillov had been sanctioned by Ukraine and the UK for alleged chemical weapons use in the war.
