The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) updated lead bank responsibilities in Rajasthan following a district reorganization. Nine newly created districts were merged into twelve existing ones. The RBI cancelled previous assignments and reviewed lead bank roles, mostly maintaining existing banks, but with changes in Jaipur and Jodhpur. Lead banks coordinate banking services, government schemes, and rural credit.
