A 36-year-old police officer, Vijay Yashodharan, was arrested in Thiruvananthapuram for sexually assaulting a doctor he met on a dating app. He lured the doctor from Ernakulam to a lodge, concealing his marital status. Following the doctor's complaint, Thampanoor police arrested him under the leadership of CI V.M. Sreekumar. He was produced in court and remanded.
