PhysicsWallah, an edtech unicorn, is reportedly nearing a deal to acquire Drishti IAS, a prominent UPSC coaching institute, for an estimated ₹2,500-3,000 crore. This would be edtech's largest acquisition recently. The deal, under negotiation since January 2025, is structured in tranches. However, Drishti IAS CEO denied the reports. This comes as PhysicsWallah prepares for its IPO.
