Pasmanda Muslims, comprising 73% of Bihar's Muslim population, will gain representation on the Waqf Board for the first time. JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha announced this following a Rajya Sabha discussion on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025. Jha also addressed concerns about the bill and criticized the Congress and RJD's handling of past issues.
