The Indian Army reported unprovoked small arms fire from Pakistan across the Line of Control (LoC). Indian troops effectively retaliated. This incident follows the recent Pahalgam terror attack. In a separate operation, Kulgam Police, along with the Army and CRPF, arrested two terrorist associates and recovered weapons. The house of a suspect in the Pahalgam attack was also demolished.
