A major engineering feat is underway in Vikhroli, Mumbai, where four transport layers converge: LBS Road, JVLR flyover, Metro Lines 4 and 6. A 62.7-meter steel span is being installed over the busy JVLR-LBS junction. This is crucial for Phase II of Metro Line 4, expected to be operational by December 2026, improving connectivity and reducing commute times. Gokhale Bridge and Vikhroli flyover constructions are nearing completion.
