Tanush Kotian will replace Ravichandran Ashwin in the India cricket squad for the Australia tour. The 26-year-old off-spinner is a backup for Washington Sundar. Axar Patel initially considered, but requested a break due to family commitments. Kotian, with 101 first-class wickets and 1525 runs, is expected in Melbourne before the Boxing Day Test.
