A 25-year-old man in Thane, Maharashtra, was arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with a bar singer under the false promise of marriage. He also shared her compromising photos with acquaintances. The accused was arrested on Saturday and charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act. The woman filed a police complaint leading to his arrest.
