The Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) ordered a re-verification of a long-term capital loss wrongly recorded as Rs. 16.89 lakhs instead of Rs. 16.89 crores by the CIT(A). Businessmatch Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. had appealed this error. The ITAT set aside the CIT(A)'s order and restored the case for verification by the Assessing Officer.
