India's renewable energy capacity has tripled in a decade, reaching 232 GW, driven by solar power growth. Solar capacity surged from 2.82 GW to over 108 GW. Wind energy also more than doubled. The government aims for 500 GW by 2030, requiring annual additions of around 50 GW. This positions India as a global clean energy leader.
