India's regional political parties reported over Rs 200 crore in donations for 2022-23, according to the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). However, the ADR report highlighted transparency issues, including delayed reporting and incomplete donor disclosures. Corporate donations accounted for 78% of the total, while the ADR urged for stricter transparency regulations from the Election Commission of India.
