The Ministry of Home Affairs approved two new Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) battalions, increasing the total personnel strength to 200,000. Each battalion will have 1,025 personnel, enhancing operational capacity and national security. This follows the creation of an all-women battalion, addressing urgent security needs and boosting employment. The expansion improves response times during emergencies and reduces workload on existing personnel.
