India and Sri Lanka signed seven MoUs, including a key defense pact, enhancing cooperation in maritime surveillance, military exercises, and equipment support. Other agreements cover UPI implementation, renewable energy, and improved people-to-people connectivity. India also converted over $100 million in loans to grants for Sri Lanka.
