India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will meet his Maldivian counterpart, Mohammed Ghassan Maumoon, on January 8th to discuss defense cooperation. The meeting will cover training, exercises, and defense projects to bolster the Maldives National Defence Forces. The Maldives' foreign minister recently concluded a visit to India, signing agreements to strengthen bilateral ties.
