Heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh's Manali stranded around 1,000 vehicles and 700 tourists between Solang and Atal Tunnel. Rescue operations successfully relocated the tourists. The IMD issued a cold wave warning. Shimla and other areas experienced snowfall, closing 30 roads. The snowfall, however, boosted the local tourism industry struggling since the pandemic.
