Researchers found strong evidence of life on exoplanet K2-18b, 124 light-years from Earth. Data from the James Webb Space Telescope detected methane, carbon dioxide, and possibly dimethyl sulfide, a compound produced by marine life. While not confirmed, this is considered the strongest evidence yet for extraterrestrial life, potentially confirmed within a couple of years. NASA awaits further data.
