Twenty critically endangered Red-Crowned Roofed Turtles were released into Uttar Pradesh's Haiderpur Wetland, a UNESCO Ramsar site, as part of the Namami Gange Mission. This initiative aims to revive the Ganga river's biodiversity. The turtles are fitted with tracking devices to monitor their adaptation.
