Delhi is nearing implementation of a policy denying fuel to vehicles over 15 (petrol) and 10 (diesel) years old. 477 fuel stations are equipped with ANPR cameras to identify vehicle age and PUC status. The policy, initially planned for April 1st, aims to reduce air pollution, aligning with Supreme Court and NGT rulings on older vehicles.
