An encounter between security forces and Naxalites is underway at the Sukma-Bijapur border in Chhattisgarh. District Reserve Guard, Special Task Force, and CoBRA teams are engaged. Prior to this, IEDs were detected and diffused in a separate operation in Bijapur district. The situation remains ongoing.
