Assam Police's STF seized 11 Tokay Gecko lizards and arrested three smugglers in Dibrugarh. The lizards, protected under the Wildlife Protection Act, were being trafficked from Arunachal Pradesh and destined for sale at ₹1 lakh each. The smugglers were apprehended after a coordinated operation involving local police and the Wildlife Justice Commission.
