Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) launched health vans equipped with medical facilities, inaugurated by the Mines and Geology Minister. These vans will provide healthcare in Araku and Paderu's mining areas. The initiative, part of a Corporate Responsibility Scheme, aims to improve healthcare access for underprivileged communities and represents a ₹1 crore investment. The scheme was neglected for five years before its reinstatement.
