Tahawwur Rana, a key accused in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, was extradited from the US to India. He arrived in Delhi after his extradition request was approved, following years of legal proceedings. The NIA formally arrested Rana upon arrival and will pursue custody in relation to the 2009 case filed following the investigation into the attacks.
